In fact, we have argued over 75 times before the Court of Appeals of Virginia and the Supreme Court of Virginia. Appeals practice is extremely complicated and full of landmines that can get your appeal dismissed before it is even considered by a judge. In a state where the rate of granted criminal petitions in the Court of Appeals is only about 10%, we're proud to say that we have had a success rate over three times the average.
